How Panel Parts works
A members-only trade network where Australian panel shops list the parts they hold in stock — and find the parts they need for the next repair job.
Finding a part
- Search by part number. You already have the number from the repair quote — type it in and see which shops in the network have that part on the shelf. You can also paste a whole list of part numbers at once with bulk search.
- Compare and choose. Multiple shops may hold the same part — compare condition, price, and location, and filter by distance from your shop.
- Contact the seller direct. Deal shop-to-shop by phone or enquiry. Panel Parts doesn't sit in the middle of the sale, doesn't process the payment, and doesn't take a cut.
Selling your surplus stock
- Register your shop. Membership is open to Australian panel shops only (automotive body, paint and interior repair businesses). Every application is checked against the Australian Business Register and reviewed before activation.
- List your parts. Unlimited listings for one flat $50/month — no per-listing fees, no commission on sales. Photos of the actual part are required on every listing.
- Take enquiries. Buyers find your parts by part number and contact you directly. The sale is yours, end to end.
What Panel Parts is not
We're the noticeboard, not the parts counter. We don't hold stock, inspect parts, ship anything, or process buyer-to-seller payments — every sale is a direct trade between two businesses. The full detail is in our Terms of Service and Seller Agreement.
